Novant Health patients have been electronically connected to their care through MyChart, Novant Health’s patient portal, since 2012. In fact, Novant Health recently reached a milestone 1 million patients accessing their health record through MyChart. Patients have had the ability to email their care team directly, request prescription renewals, schedule and manage appointments, view laboratory test results, view recent clinic visits and pay bills online. On October 1, 2018, Novant Health began offering OpenNotes, which provides patients access to notes from their office visit with a Novant Health provider in MyChart.
