As of November 1, 2020 Health Holy Spirit Medical Center merged with Penn State Health. Holy Spirit is a level 2 trauma center and community hospital, with associated primary and specialty care ambulatory offices, which provides full emergency, obstetric, cardiothoracic surgery services, and all other advanced technologies except transplant. Holy Spirit Hospital has 310 beds, including an in-house (contracted) subacute long term care facility. It is sponsored by the Sisters of Christian Charity.
