OpenNotes has partnered with Bare Tree Media to create a set of custom animated GIFs and iMessage stickers as part of a consumer outreach campaign. The images were designed for use by patients, healthcare professionals, and other OpenNotes supporters.
“Over the last year, we have witnessed an increasing number of patient advocates and healthcare professionals discussing open notes online,” said Cait DesRoches, DrPH, Executive Director of OpenNotes. “We see the GIFs and stickers as a tool to spark and enhance these online conversations.”
- The GIFs are for use on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook. Go to the GIPHY Platform (https://giphy.com/search/OpenNotes) to access them.
- The “stickers” are a free download from the Apple app store and can be used in the iMessage texting app. Find the download by searching for “OpenNotes” in the App store.
The GIFs and stickers, created by Bare Tree Media of Boston, are based on custom character drawings by New York City artist Grace Ludmer. The drawings were commissioned by OpenNotes in 2016.
