As Director of Transitions of Care and Patient Engagement for the nation’s second-largest municipal health system, Anshu leads patient engagement initiatives serving more than 600,000 patients in the safety net, including language diverse, homeless, and/or disabled patients and families, 80% of whom receive public insurance. Anshu participated in the original open notes pilot study at Harborview Medical Center at the University of Washington and brought open notes to LA County in early 2018.
