Physician Lead, Patient and Family Centered Care, Southern California (Kaiser) Permanente Medical Group
Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences, Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine
As Kaiser Permanente Southern California’s physician lead for Patient and Family Centered Care, Kerry has been a strong proponent of OpenNotes which was implemented for Kaiser Permanente Southern California’s 4.5 million members in 2018 due in part to strong support by the Regional Patient Advisory Council he co-chairs. Kerry is also proud of his work as co-chair, with Liz Salmi, of the California OpenNotes Consortium in 2018-19, and other OpenNotes activities that helped promote patient access to their health information across the state.
